David Robertson has been practising and maintaining his clinic for over a decade. Upholding a highly reputable and sought after treatment approach David reflects his profound dedication and extensive knowledge throughout all avenues of his work. David’s philosophy is to provide his clients with the knowledge and ability to take responsibility of their own health and wellbeing.

During 2010, whilst completing a Bachelor of Natural Health Science Majoring in Acupuncture, David was simultaneously furthering his education through pursuing his major influence of Japanese Medicine by further developing his studies of Japanese Acupuncture and its Herbal systems under Ikeda Masakuza Sensei.

David is also a certified Ziran Qi Gong instructor studying in both Australia and China under under master Lui Deming, whom is the lineage holder of Ziranmen kungfu. David is still undergoing continuous Qi Gong practices daily.

It is of value to note that David is continuously undergoing and further developing his knowledge, studies and research.

When practising traditional health care, David ensures he uses the right diagnostic methods and categorises body types into their constitutional states. Using these hallmarks of traditional health care David can identify those healthy states in which individuals thrive, as well as provide guidance about the syndrome patterns that develop when disharmony arises.

Traditional medicine practised correctly ensures individuals get the appropriate treatment based on their constitution. This allows for faster, longer-lasting results.

Treatment will vary from person to person with thinner, more sensitive body types generally treated using gentle touch needling, Japanese acupuncture moxibustion, cranio-sacral therapy and qi gong therapy. In certain cases, and having used the same diagnostic approach, herbal medicine is prescribed.

Those with a robust and athletic body type respond better to stronger, more stimulating methods, such as Chinese-style acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, cupping and massage.
